Adoptions

Available Campus Cats & Kittens!

There are still several campus kitties seeking their "forever homes".
Take a look at their pictures below and contact Kelly at:
feralcatcaregivers@yahoo.com for more information if you think you may want to adopt one or two of these cuties!  Donations of one for $30, two for $50 are appreciated. Funds are used by Campus Cats to trap and spay/neuter feral cats on the UGA campus. Adoptive parents will need a cat carrier to transport their new family member(s) home. .

TABITHA and TAMMIE
These two recently rescued sisters (approx. 1 1/2 yrs old) need to stay together. They could either go to an indoor home with someone patient, or to a good barn home where they could first be confined in a pen or tack room for a couple weeks.

GINGER
Ginger is barely a year old and a beautiful orange girl with white nose, chest, paws. Did you know that orange females are much rarer than males, outnumbered by 3 to 1? This little rarity is very sweet and loving, content to lie in your lap and purr for long periods of time. Though young, she is not the wild and crazy type.  She is quite skinny and very eager to make up for lost mealtimes. She has been spayed and vaccinated,  her combo test came back negative (a good thing!), and she is litter box-trained. She would likely do fine with other cats after an adjustment period - she has been hissing at the other cats she encounters - but is not obviously afraid or aggressive towards them, and could probably learn to like cat-friendly dogs too.

      RASCAL
Young Male about 1yr old
He's sweet, intelligent, and very playful. And he has extra soft fur on his belly!

CHECKERS
(also known as Benjen)
Young Male about 1 yr old

Neutered and vaccinated

Negative combo test

Check out the special video of this cute little guy on youtube!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7oU7Lkar9I

He loves to cuddle with you. He will happily sit on your lap and sleep with you. He has a high-pitched little squeak when he wants love. Very sweet to people and other cats. Shy when first meeting new people. Very playful. Carries his little ball around in his mouth to play with.

He has an almost identical twin brother who has a white smudge on his nose!

CHESTER
(Also known as Jojen)

Young Male about 1 yr old Neutered and vaccinated

Negative combo test

He has an almost identical twin brother ("Checkers").  A little shyer than his brother but still really loves people and love. Actually likes to meet strangers before her brother does!  Will follow you from room to room.  Loves treats and toys. Likes sleeping with other cats in the household.

JINX

Male adult, about 3-4 years old

Neutered and vaccinated

Don’t let the name fool you! Lucky Jinx was living at the RamseyCenter and was much too tame to remain safely outdoors. We discovered he was already neutered when we got him, so his history is a mystery. He needs an indoor home without young kids, and with someone who can read “cat body language” to know when he’s had enough loving.

Aren't they cute? Even if you can't adopt one, you can still help by sponsoring on to help provide food, shelter, and medical care while they await permanent adoption!
Each Sponsor of an "Available Cat or Kitten" will receive a Certificate of Sponsorship with a photo of his/her chosen feline and notification when your kitty finds it's forever home!
